LightPole
LightPole provides mobile services for publishers of location relevant information. This includes a consumer application that allows one to easily search for things around you ("mobile discovery") using your location, the time and a trusted source of information as three automatic filters. It also includes a service offering for content owners that allows them to easily integrate mobile devices into both their publishing and consumer interaction (comments, new postings, messaging) offerings without having to deal with the complexities of cellular networks (speed, reliability, carrier politics) or the highly fragmented device issues (hardware and software).
